Heavy lake-effect snow continues east and just southeast Lake Ontario into Wednesday with an additional 6-12"+ of accumulation possible in parts of Jefferson, Oswego and Lewis counties.
Besides the lake snow, it remains bitterly cold through Wednesday with single-digit and sub-zero wind chills continuing.
Thursday won't be as frigid, but it will remain cold with highs in the 20s and scattered snow showers moving through.

Livingston County man Ryan Corbett has been released by the Taliban. In a statement early Tuesday morning, Corbett's family announced he had been freed after being held prisoner for nearly 900 days in Afghanistan.
