SUNY Albany has re-named part of their campus. 

Indian Quad will now be called Indigenous Quad.

SUNY Albany President Havidán Rodríguez says a group of students and staff found that the term "indian" was at odds with UAlbany’s core value of inclusive excellence.

Other places throughout campuses are expected to be re-named in the coming months.
