The state Department of Health on Tuesday announced that it does plan to expand the medical marijuana program. New regulations include authorizing nurse practitioners to certify patients, allowing home delivery service of the medicine, and making it more affordable for some patients. But, as we discussed last week, do these regulations go far enough to really help the people who need this type of medication? State Senator Diane Savino joins us from New York City. She was one of the original advocates for medical marijuana.
