Tuesday, thousands of advocates are expected to rally at the state capitol for a higher minimum wage. The issue has been a top priority for the governor this year as he travels the state to promote it. But as we have been reporting, Republicans in the State Senate remain divided on the governor's proposal. Cuomo is asking lawmakers to approve a hike to $15 an hour statewide with a faster phase-in in New York City. Joining him at these rallies is George Gresham, the President of 1199 SEIU, the state's largest healthcare union.
