Born and raised in the Capital Region, Camille Delongis is honored to be able to cover the news in the local community she’s grown up knowing so well. Camille was captivated by the news industry at a young age, thanks to her desire to learn and love for storytelling. Today, Camille is a proud weekend anchor and video journalist on Spectrum News Capital Region.

Though she has covered countless meaningful stories throughout her career, one that comes to mind for her as her most memorable is when a storm caused a tree to fall on a car, destroying a special carseat for a child with special needs. This was the second time in a matter of months that the family found themselves without a mode of transportation that was suitable for their daughter. Despite everything they had been through, the family was celebrating the health of their family and staying strong in the face of adversity.

Camille is dedicated to continuously improving the lives of others in her community by utilizing her platform as a journalist. Currently, she is working on launching a pet segment featuring an adoptable pet of the week. When Camille isn’t in the newsroom, you can find her surrounded by her loved ones and exploring local restaurants.
