Clouds will increase overnight as a front moves through. Despite the change, we will remain dry. Lows in WNY will fall to the mid 30s while areas further east will be much cooler falling to the 20s.
Most of Tuesday will be cloudy, but by mid to late afternoon the weather could become unsettled. The further north you’re located, rain will start and transition to spotty flurries. Further south, there’s a higher likelihood of rain showers that will stay rain showers. In between, freezing rain or drizzle is possible. This could make for a slick Tuesday evening commute. Highs Tuesday will be in the upper 30s/low 40s.
Aside from a few lingering pockets of rain/snow Wednesday AM we dry out on Wednesday with highs in the 30s. There is still some uncertainty, but a frontal system sets up and could bring a wintry mix, including sleet/freezing rain on Thursday. On Friday, especially by PM, we will see snow. It turns colder with some lower impact snow into the weekend.
