ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — You really can’t think about Buffalo without thinking about wings. Going on a wing trail is one of the top things to do in the area.

This weekend, the National Buffalo Wing Festival is back at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park.

There were 15 tons of wings delivered to the stadium on Thursday, and you can feel the excitement as vendors get ready for the stadium to open on Saturday.

It isn’t your typical wing walk. There are beloved local spots combined with a few from around the country and even the world.

There will be plenty of the traditional Buffalo wings, but also a wide array of other flavors to try. There are also competitions and awards.

The festival runs Saturday from noon to 9 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 7 p.m. Tickets are $20.
