HAMBURG, N.Y. — Visitors at the Erie County Fair can travel through time and make their memories last.
Old Tyme Photos specializes in photos made to look antique. Stocked with costumes and props, you can travel back in time for this souvenir.
Matt Cobb has been doing this professionally since 2003. He says there is an entire industry for antique photo booth photography.
He usually has staff to help him dress and stage people, but with one person on medical leave, he had to scramble for help.
“My sweet parents came in and swooped in and saved the day, so they’ve been out here with me for three or four weeks now doing it as a family gig,” said Cobb.
The photos are printed on-site and even framed for safekeeping. You can leave your photos at the booth to pick up later before you leave the fair.
Old Tyme Photos is located across from Slade Park. They are open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
