HAMBURG, N.Y. — The Erie County Fair is underway at the Hamburg Fairgrounds and there are a lot of cool things to check out this year.

It's a squealing good time with Swifty Swine Racing. The pigs travel all over the country to give it their all on the racetrack.

Piglets race through 150 feet of track for an Oreo cookie at the finish line.

They live in the comfort of air conditioning and are checked by veterinarians monthly. It's all so they're in the best shape possible to bring a smile to people's faces.

“The funny thing is you would think that it would be for the kids but even the adults really love it they love their names like we have Kevin Bacon and Brad Pigg and Kim Kardashingham,” said Swine Master Zach Johnson.

This is Swifty Swine Racing’s 15th year in Hamburg. Races take place daily at 1, 3, 5 and 7 p.m.

The Erie County Fair runs through Sunday, August 22.
