There is a chance to root for a local athlete competing in Paris.

Matt Anderson and Team USA volleyball continue their Olympic path Friday afternoon. The West Seneca native and the Americans will take on Japan at 3 p.m. local time.

A watch party will be taking place at Duff's Famous Wings of Orchard Park.

Anderson has competed at three other Olympic games, previously winning a bronze medal.
