University at Buffalo star Cierra Dillard was selected 20th overall in the WNBA Draft by the Minnesota Lynx on Wednesday.

Dillard had a draft watch party at a restaurant near where she played high school ball at Gates Chili, with former coaches and family on hand for the big event.

She just capped her final year, helping lead the Bulls to a 24-10 record, the 2019 MAC Championship, and the NCAA Tournament — where they gave UConn all they could handle.

Dillard is the first UB player to get drafted into the WNBA.
