BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Sabres are set to open the season at home against the Washington Capitals on Thursday, January 14, 2021.
The 2020-21 NHL schedule was released Wednesday afternoon.
The Sabres will play in the East Division this season along with the Bruins, Devils, Islanders, Rangers, Flyers, Penguins, and Capitals.
The schedule is mostly two-game sets in any given city with the regular season finale in Pittsburgh on May 8.
They also play on January 24 — the day of the NFL's conference championships.
Sabres camp can open as soon as December 31.
