BUFFALO, N.Y. — Police say four people were killed across the city of Buffalo over Labor Day weekend.
The latest homicide happened early Monday morning near Glenwood avenue and Brooklyn Street. Detectives say that's where a 33-year-old man was shot. He died later at ECMC.
The weekend started with a shooting Friday afternoon. Police say two 30-year-old men were shot and killed on Stevens Avenue.
In another incident, police say a man and a woman stabbed each other on Coit Street around 3:30 Sunday morning. The 25-year-old woman died at the hospital, while the 34-year-old man is in police custody while being treated for his injuries.
The holiday weekend caps off a rash of deadly violence, as Buffalo police report at least eight fatal shootings and two fatal stabbings since August 4.
