Town of Hamburg Police has identified the victims of a house fire that occurred in the early hours of Monday morning.

Police identified 28-year-old Krystle Dab, 6-year-old Allison Harmon, and 4-year-old John Wendover as those who lost their lives in the fire.

Two other men, 33-year-old Robert Benz Jr. and 29-year-old J.D. Wendover were able to escape and transported to ECMC.

The cause of the fire has not been determined and an investigation is ongoing.

At 2:20 a.m. Monday morning, crews received reports of a structure fire and reports of possibly victims inside. They found two children and an adult passed in the fire.

When they arrived on scene, the fire volume was too much, and fire fighters couldn’t fight from within the inside of the fire. Officials said they had to attack from the outside first.
