A person has now been charged a year after a boat crashed into the Lake Erie breakwall, killing a man.
Michael Cronin, 46, of Lancaster has been arraigned on one misdemeanor count of reckless operation of a vessel and imprudent speed.
It stems from a crash on May 12, 2018.
Three people were in the boat when it crashed into the breakwall near the city of Buffalo just after 11 p.m.
Eric Przykuta was ejected from the boat and died. He left behind a wife and two young children.
Cronin is due back in court next month and faces a maximum sentence of 30 days in jail and a maximum fine of $500.
