Protesters gathered at Delevan and Delaware in Buffalo Sunday morning to voice their concerns over current COVID-19 lockdown restrictions.

Despite the snow, protesters walked along the street, holding signs and American flags.

One sign read “let us open, or we will have to close forever.”

Others joined in the protest from their cars, driving by and honking.

The group made its way to house of Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz.

"Mark Poloncarz decides he wants to mock the freedom movement. That he wants to mock this community, that he wants to mock restaurant owners and we are fed up," said Pete Harding with Liberty League.

Colored zones are set by the state.

Local officials are responsible for making sure the guidelines are enforced, but have no control over lifting any of the restrictions.
