More than 8,000 riders hit the streets for the annual Ride for Roswell at the University at Buffalo.
The course started on Lee Road and finished on Hamilton Road.
Those taking part in the event include hundreds of cancer patients and survivors as well as their family and friends.
This year's event raised $5.7 million for cancer research.
"It's fun riding with a group," rider David Weeks said. "We're here with a bunch of friends. We started our group about 10 years ago. We all were friends of or guitar students of the late, great Charlie O'Neill, who was also treated at Roswell and unfortunately after five years of recurrence, we did not survive it after a while."
