Buffalo Bandits star forward Dhane Smith has been named the NLL Offensive Player of the Year.
Smith, who, in his 12th NLL season, broke his single-season assist record for the fourth straight year in 2024-25 with 102, is the second-ever recipient of the award after teammate John Byrne won it last year.
Smith recorded at least four points in all 18 regular-season games, including five games of 10-plus points and 12 games of seven-plus points.
Smith is also up for Most Valuable Player and goaltender Matt Vinc is nominated for Goaltender of the Year. Kyle Buchanan won the Sportsmanship Award and longtime Bandits play-by-play announcer John Gurtler was named the recipient of the Tom Borrelli Award for Media Person of the Year.
The Bandits will face the Saskatchewan Rush in the 2025 NLL Finals, set to begin on Friday, May 16 at KeyBank Center.
