HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — A Thursday afternoon supply yard fire caused traffic delays near US Highway 41.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded just after 3 p.m. to 4801 South 50th Street in Tampa.
"Our first-arriving crews were met with a heavy, deep-seated fire. Crews employed handlines and aerial operations to combat the blaze, declaring it under control in just over an hour," Hillsborough County Fire Rescue said in a news release.
No injuries have been reported.
County officials, though, say there are no plans in place currently for sidewalks to be built.
Liftoff is targeted for 3:52 p.m. ET.
The registry would help shelters, pet adoption agencies and pet owners screen potential adopters.
To become a reality, the proposal would have to be approved by the voters as an amendment to the Florida Constitution.
Tampa is no stranger to the bright lights of college basketball women’s championship. The Final Four has been held three previous times in Tampa.
It’s in an effort spearheaded by the Florida’s Adventure Coast Visitors Bureau, Brooksville Main Street and the Hernando County Fine Arts Council.
