Community Health Center of Buffalo has been awarded $1,799,096 in federal funding through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Congressman Tim Kennedy announced Tuesday.
The new funding will help Community Health Center of Buffalo expand access to quality, affordable healthcare for underserved communities in Western New York.
“Access to quality, affordable primary healthcare provides for better outcomes and overall community wellness,” said Kennedy. “I commend Dr. Ansari and the Community Health Center of Buffalo team for their ongoing work throughout Western New York.”

The Community Health Center of Buffalo has locations in Buffalo, Cheektowaga, Niagara Falls, and Lockport as well as a mobile unit.
