It was a holiday mixer and a toy drive as Buffalo Bills cornerback Ja'Marcus Ingram teamed up with the Buffalo Police Athletic League for a special event Tuesday at Milton's Lobby Bar at The Statler in Downtown Buffalo.
Guests brought new toys to support families in need this holiday season. They were also able to meet and talk with the Bills defensive back, who hosted the event.
"The Holiday Mixer & Toy Drive is a celebration of community and generosity," said Buffalo PAL Executive Director Nekia Kemp. "The Police Athletic League of Buffalo serves nearly 20,000 youth every year."
Ingram said this is a small thing he can do with the platform he was given.
"I think time is the only thing we can't get back. I like to spend my time wisely, and I think that this is a great event and a great way to spend my time," Ingram said.
