We now have new numbers when it comes to just how many personal seat licenses have been sold for the new Buffalo Bills Stadium in Orchard Park.
According to the latest sales report from the team, they sold nearly 2,300 seat licenses, which was worth about $13.5 million.
Each license sold during the 3rd quarter cost anywhere between $8,000 and $20,000.
To date, the Bills have sold about 5,900 personal seat licenses, which are worth more than $32 million total.
The money from these sales goes to fund the team's share of the stadium construction costs.
These numbers come as costs of the new stadium are now more than $2.1 billion. Taxpayers are paying $850 million, the remainder of the cost is on the Bills along with any overruns beyond $1.54 billion.
The stadium is being built across the street from the Bills’ current home and is on track to open by June 2026.
