The Erie County Sheriff's Office is warning Buffalo Bills fans about ticket scams ahead of Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins.

Sheriff John Garcia wants fans to use caution if they are buying tickets secondhand, and to only use verified ticket partners. For home games, that is Ticketmaster and SeatGeek.

“As we get closer to the end of the regular season, scammers will unfortunately be looking to take advantage of Bills fans’ excitement and anticipation for a Super Bowl run,” said Sheriff Garcia. “Buyers should be vigilant as they search for tickets and use common sense. If the deal seems too good to be true, it likely is.”

Anyone with questions is asked to reach out to the team's ticket office at 877-228-4257.

Kickoff between the Bills and Dolphins is 1 p.m. Sunday.
