The Buffalo Sabres have unveiled a new mural in Alumni Plaza that features more than two dozen players from 1970 through the 2000s.
Players included on the new mural include: Maxim Afinogenov, Dave Andreychuk, Tom Barrasso, Danny Briere, Chris Drury, Don Edwards, Mike Foligno, Danny Gare, Dominik Hasek, Dale Hawerchuk, Phil Housley, Pat LaFontaine, Don Luce, Rick Martin, Ryan Miller, Alexander Mogilny, Michael Peca, Gilbert Perreault, Larry Playfair, Jason Pominville, Craig Ramsay, Mike Ramsey, Rob Ray, Rene Robert, Lindy Ruff, Miroslav Satan and Thomas Vanek.
Both sides of the mural also feature the Rick Jeanneret quote "Here come the Buffalo Sabres."
The mural will officially be unveiled on Oct. 10 before the Sabres' home opener against the Los Angeles Kings.
