It's a rare weekend off for the Buffalo Bills and their fans, and they are spending it by giving back.

Following Thursday's game, during which Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered a concussion, Bills Mafia mobilized, making more than 1,000 donations to the quarterback's foundation, the Tua Foundation, totaling nearly $18,000.

Tagovailoa founded the Tua Foundation in 2021 after his rookie season. Its website describes the foundation as a nonprofit organization "dedicated to the support of youth initiatives, health and wellness, and other charitable causes."

Buffalo fans also spearheaded an effort to donate to the foundation following Tagovailoa's 2022 concussion against the Cincinnati Bengals.

This is just the latest charitable drive led by members of the Bills Mafia.

In 2017, more than $400,000 was raised by the Mafia for then-Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton and his foundation after he helped the Bills to end their 17-year postseason drought. Donation drives have also benefited foundations and efforts backed by people like Lamar Jackson, Keon Coleman and Josh Allen.
