The Buffalo Sabres have announced the theme night schedule for the 2024-25 season, which gets underway with their home opener against the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday, Oct. 10.
In addition to the home opener, this season's theme nights include:
- Hockey Halloween (Saturday, Oct. 26 vs. Detroit Red Wings)
- Hockey Fights Cancer (Friday, Nov. 1 vs. New York Islanders)
- Military Appreciation (Monday, Nov. 11 vs. Montreal Canadiens)
- Thanksgiving Eve (Wednesday, Nov. 27 vs. Minnesota Wild)
- Native American Heritage Night (Tuesday, Dec. 3 vs. Colorado Avalanche)
- Banditland on Ice (Monday, Dec. 9 vs. Detroit Red Wings)
- Winterfest (Friday, Dec. 27 vs. Chicago Blackhawks)
- Kids Takeover (Saturday, Jan. 11 vs. Seattle Kraken)
- Youth Hockey Day (Sunday, Feb. 2 vs. New Jersey Devils)
- Girls and Women in Sports (Tuesday, Feb. 4 vs. Columbus Blue Jackets)
- Black History Celebration (Tuesday, Feb. 25 vs. Anaheim Ducks)
- St. Patrick’s Day Celebration (Saturday, March 15 vs. Vegas Golden Knights)
- Pride Night (Thursday, March 27 vs. Pittsburgh Penguins)
- Fan Appreciation Night (Thursday, April 17 vs. Philadelphia Flyers)
Tickets go on sale starting Tuesday, Sept. 3, with presales starting Tuesday, Aug. 27 through Thursday, Aug. 29. Those can be purchased here.
The Sabres also released their national broadcast schedule.
They will appear nine times on national television this season:
