As part of the Savannah Bananas Banana Ball World Tour, some team members started Saturday off as many do, with their coffee. Fans were able to meet up with first base dance coach Maceo Harrison, and none other than the mascot himself, Splitz, while they had their morning brew.

"We get to see the fans at the beginning, like way before the games, way before pregame so we get to actually have a little intimate moment with the people inside and then also enjoy some dunkins and donuts," Harrison said.

Cast members from the Savannah Bananas helped serve guests breakfast and giveaways from 9 to 11 Saturday morning. They will be back out on Sahlen Field tonight and tomorrow to bring a new kind of baseball to Buffalo fans.

Playing a baseball game in a style referred to as 'Banana Ball,' it features a circus-like atmosphere with music, dancing and other family-friendly entertainment. We caught up with one of players to explain what Banana Ball is.

"Banana ball is not like baseball, its a whole different vibe. It's faster, it's quicker pace, it's more entertaining, we got trick plays, we can enjoy getting home or hitting a homer and then we just entertain the crowd," Harrison said.
