The Buffalo Sabres have announced the official roster for their 2024 Development Camp, which is set to run from July 1 through July 4 at LECOM Harborcenter in downtown Buffalo.

This year’s roster includes Western New York natives Ryan Smith (Pendleton), Jak Vaarwerk (Clarence), Patrick Geary (Hamburg), Gavin McCarthy (Clarence Center) and Aiden McKenna (Rochester). All the Sabres 2024 draft picks, including top picks Konsta Helenius (14th overall) and Adam Kleber (42nd overall), will also take part. You can see the entire roster here.

The development camp “aims to introduce prospective players to professional work habits and organizational standards. Players in attendance will become familiar with the team and the resources available to them through the Sabres development staff and performance team while taking part in both on-ice and off-ice workouts.”

On-ice sessions take place:

  • July 1, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
  • July 2, 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
  • July 3, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • July 4, 9:15 a.m. (3v3 tournament)

All on-ice sessions are open to the public, free of charge.
