The annual Lewiston Jazz Festival will see wonderful jazz music and local vendors take over the scenic Niagara County village on Friday, Aug. 23 and Saturday, Aug. 24.
On Friday, New York City jazz pianist Pete Malinverni, a Lewiston native, will perform, as will jazz vocalist Anaïs Reno. Then, on Saturday, the Jazz at the Ballroom organization will present jazz pianist Konrad Paszkudzki, featuring bassist Dylan Shamat, vocalist Olivia Chindamo, pianist/vocalist Champian Fulton, vocalist Vanessa Perea, vocalist Wyatt Michael, trombonist Rob Edwards, saxophonist Adrian Cunningham, and more, for three performances titled "Get Out of Town," "Flying High," and "Accentuate the Positive." There will also be a special performance by UB Zodiaque Dance for the third year in a row, followed by a tribute to George and Ira Gershwin by pianist Elliot Sneider.
