The Festival of Lights at the Erie County Fairgrounds is back for its 19th year.

The holiday fun starts on Black Friday and runs through Dec. 23.

New this year will be live entertainment, including bands, magic shows, a balloon twister and an improv group, Santa’s Barnyard, Frosted Grapes and Hops wine and beer garden, Winter Wonderland Workshop, Erie County Fair merchandise and more.

Additionally, the North Pole Experience, including visits from Santa, train display from the Western New York Garden Railway Society, Santa’s Christmas Express Train Ride, European Style Outdoor Shopping Market, Santa’s Magical Midway, illuminated pixel show and Frosty’s Dance Party will return this year.

Indoor and outdoor shopping plus food and drink options will be available as well.

Tickets will go on sale on Nov. 15 at FairgroundsHoliday.com and are only available online.

Guests can enjoy the Full Experience Ticket for $30 per carload across 18 nights. The full experience includes both the drive-thru displays and walk-up attractions. Guests who prefer to stay inside the car can also purchase a drive-thru-only ticket for $20 per carload. 

Gates are open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and buildings close at 10 p-m.
