Registration for the 128^th annual YMCA Turkey Trot will open Tuesday, Aug. 8 at 11 a.m. Runners can sign up to race at YMCABN.org. 

The early bird entry fee for both the in-person and virtual race is $37, which increases to $42 on Oct. 14. All participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt.

A virtual option is also available. Virtual registrants will have the option to run, jog, or walk an 8k (4.97 miles) anytime between Nov. 23 - 26.

Proceeds from the Turkey Trot will help fund YMCA programs and services.

"The YMCA Turkey Trot is a time-honored Thanksgiving Day tradition," the YMCA said in a press release. "The oldest consecutively run footrace in the world, the YMCA Turkey Trot is an 8k race that attracts 14,000 runners and walkers annually."
