BUFFALO, N.Y. — A disappointing end to a stellar season in Bandit land.
The Bandits couldn’t manage to steal away the NLL Championship Title in Buffalo Saturday night.
The team fell to the Colorado Mammoth in the last game of the league finals with a score of 10-8.
One highlight of the evening for Bandits was Kyle Buchanan scoring three goals in front of an audience of 19,000 diehard fans at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo.
“Buffalo Bandit fans are the best fans in the National Lacrosse League,” he said. “It’s disappointing that we couldn’t win for them today. The guys gave everything they, but we just ran into a hot team. You gotta earn everything. It’s a tough league. Home floor advantage, first place at the end of the day, it’s doesn’t mean anything. You gotta find a way to go out and win.”
The Bandits end the 2021-22 season with an overall record of 18-6.
