NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — Gov. Kathy Hochul announced Saturday that Niagara Falls will be lit light red, white, and blue in support of the Buffalo Bills ahead of their Wild Card Playoff game against the New England Patriots.
"Western New York is famous for its unwavering support of our Bills and as they kick off against one of our biggest rivals, we're making it clear — this is Bills country," Gov. Hochul said. "From the freezing temperatures to the addition of a new chapter in the team's longstanding battle with the Patriots, this will prove to be a historic night. I, for one, cannot wait to cheer the Bills on! Go Bills!"
With the wind chill forecasted for game time, it’s expected to feel bitterly cold tonight in Buffalo. In fact, it’s set to be one of the coldest games in NFL history.
But that's nothing new for the Bills Mafia. With the wind chill, temperatures were -32 degrees during the Bills-Raiders playoff game in 1992.
