Two new COVID-19 testing sites are opening in Erie County.

One is at the University at Buffalo North Campus, while the other is located on the campus of SUNY Buffalo State.

Oral, saliva-based PCR tests are being offered at both locations.

Both sites are not open on weekends and are operated by Quadrant Biosciences.

Appointments are available as early as Friday morning, with hundreds left for the rest of January.

More information can be found here for the UB site, and here for the Buffalo State site.

Editors note: A previous version of this story incorrectly stated the tests were rapid.
