The Erie County District Attorney’s Office is investigating a potential case of misconduct on Election Day.
The Erie County Board of Elections is asking the DA to investigate accusations that poll workers may have used a stamp at an unspecified polling location Tuesday, this according to a spokesperson for District Attorney John Flynn.
Details are scarce. We’ve reached out to the Board of Elections for comment.
The DA’s Office is already involved in at one previous voting-related investigation.
Last week, the state Attorney General’s Office ordered a review of an incident at the Delavan-Grider Community Center, where former Eire County Legislator Better Jean Grant claims she witnessed voter coercion inside an early voting site.
Grant recorded it on her phone, which experts say is illegal in New York state.
