Stadium talks continue to swirl across Western New York.

According to a Pegula Sports and Entertainment spokesperson, the University at Buffalo football program has been approached with the idea of sharing a potential new stadium with the Buffalo Bills.

The story was first published online by Tim Graham of The Athletic

The PSE spokesperson that Spectrum News 1 spoke with by phone Friday night says this was not a formal invite, but adds that a new stadium could be used by a lot of local teams, programs and entities.

Capital Tonight's Ryan Whalen has been following all the developments surrounding the Bills stadium very closely.

Earlier this week, he reported that New York state Gov. Kathy Hochul said the results of a stadium study that have been kept private for quite some time will be made public in the next few weeks.
