BUFFALO, N.Y. — ​Several streets will be closed beginning Friday as crews set up for the Taste of Buffalo, which takes place Saturday, July 10 and Sunday, July 11. Streets will reopen late Sunday.

New this year, Delaware Avenue, from West Tupper Street to West Huron Street, will be open, and West Huron will also remain open to thru-traffic.

The following streets will be closed to inbound traffic beginning at noon Friday and will close to outbound traffic at 5 p.m. Friday:

  • Delaware Avenue from south of Huron Street to West Eagle Street
  • Mohawk Street between South Elmwood Avenue and Franklin Street
  • Niagara Square and its arterials, which include Niagara East, Niagara West and Perkins Drive
  • Genesee Street between Franklin Avenue and Niagara Square
  • Court Street between Franklin Avenue and Niagara Square

Volunteers will also be in the area marking tents beginning at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
