Across the city, there were more shootings late Saturday going into early Sunday, making for another violent weekend in Buffalo.
Buffalo police say a man was shot in his apartment on Woeppel Street just before 10:45 p.m. on Saturday. He was transferred to Erie County Medical Center in a stable condition.
Then, just after midnight Sunday, a 25-year-old female was shot on Beverly Road during a house party. She was also driven to ECMC, where she was reported in stable condition.
After the shooting, the house party was shut down by organizers.
Many people at the party headed to Deep South Taco on Ellicott Street, where another shooting occurred. A 28-year-old Cheektowaga male, a 32-year-old male from Buffalo and a 21-year-old female also from Buffalo were injured.
Police say an argument started outside of the restaurant in connection with an attempted robbery may have sparked the shooting.
All three of those victims were transported to the ECMC and are listed in stable condition.
