Looks like the on-ice product has finally made an impact on how many Sabres fans tuned into watch games.

For more than a decade, the Sabres have always been at least in the top two when it came to U.S. markets.

But not only did the team lose viewership, they experienced the steepest drop in viewership in the entire league. A new report from Sports Business Journal has Sabres games on MSG+ losing about 35% of their viewership.

One could imagine tying the NHL winless streak record of 18 games, along with coming in dead last in the league in points, as a reason fans stopped watching. The team also has not made the playoffs since 2011.

For teams at the top of the U.S. markets list, Pittsburgh continues to dominate, with Las Vegas and St. Louis working their way up the list.
