“The demand for help from Feedmore is not shrinking. While things are starting to get back to normal, there is still a great need in our community. Many people are still struggling and are still out of work. And we expect the need to continue at this pace at for at least the next 2-5 years. There is a lot of need out there in Western New York,” Ann McKenna, Feedmore WNY Marketing Director, said. “We’ll be able to feed a lot of people with the money that is raised.”

To take part in the promotion, you can use your Dunkin’ app to order and qualifying drinks include any iced coffee, cold brew, cold brew with sweet cold foam. Each Dunkin’ location in Buffalo and Western New York are taking part in Iced Coffee Day.

“Ever since the pandemic hit, we have been hearing that the need for food is greater than ever before and our local franchisees live and operate right here in the community where the need is so great. When we decided to bring Iced Coffee Day back to Buffalo, they rallied around Feedmore because it’s such a great cause,” Dunkin’ Field Market Manager Erie Stensland added. “A donation to FeedMore WNY will go a long way, especially given the tremendous need in our communities right now.”

In 2020, FeedMore WNY distributed enough food to provide nearly 16 million meals to community members in need, approximately 4 million meals more than what the hunger relief non-profit distributed in 2019.

“Hunger always has been a serious issue in Western New York. However, the pandemic greatly exacerbated the need for food assistance throughout the community. Last year, FeedMore WNY assisted 180,880 people through our feeding programs – a 36 percent increase compared to 2019,” said Catherine Shick, Chief Communications Officer for FeedMore WNY. “Thanks to the support of the community and partners like Dunkin’, FeedMore WNY is able to continue to provide nutritious food to children, families, veterans and older adults throughout Western New York. We are excited to team up with Dunkin’ for Iced Coffee Day.”
