CLEVELAND, OHIO — The Buffalo Bills made some surprise draft moves on Day 2 of the 2021 NFL Draft.

General Manager Brandon Beane is making it clear that he held true to his draft board rather than reaching for more perceived needs, grabbing another pass rusher in Wake Forest's Boogie Basham and Northern Iowa offensive tackle Spencer Brown.

Basham is more of someone who could see the field this season, while Brown is more of a developmental depth addition. Either way, Basham and Brown excited to join one of the best teams in the NFL.

"I think I fit in with the rest of the young guys. I just want to learn, just want to play football. I love competing and there is going to be a lot of competition. I’m friends with AJ [Epenesa], and I’m cool with Greg [Rousseau], so getting all three of us in that system, that’s pretty good," Basham said.

"I’m just ready to get in the building and learn from the guys that are there and be the best teammate I can possibly be. I’m going to go in there and gather as much information as I possibly can. Just get better every day and compete," Brown said.

On Day 3 of the draft, the Bills are currently equipped with two fifth, one sixth, and one seventh round picks.
