BUFFALO, N.Y. — Court documents show the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority has filed a lawsuit against the city of Buffalo and the Buffalo Water Authority.

The suit claims the NFTA's light rail system was damaged by a water main break at the Delavan Station in January 2020. The station was closed for several days following the incident.

According to the lawsuit, the NFTA claims the city and water authority are at fault.
