Anyone in need of a new job may want to consider helping protect travelers at the airport.

The Transportation Security Administration says it's looking to fill 25 open positions at Albany International, Syracuse Hancock International, and Buffalo-Niagara International Airports.

It's part of a national effort to hire 6,000 TSA officers in preparation for a big increase in air travel expected this summer.

While there are full-time positions available, the TSA says many of the openings are part-time. Wages start at $16.48 per hour in Albany; $16.51 per hour in Syracuse; and $17.11 per hour in Buffalo.
