BUFFALO, N.Y. — Five current and former employees have filed a lawsuit against Hotel Henry.
The suit claims upwards of $800,000 in unpaid wages and gratuities were stolen from the workers by hotel managers, with trends being cited all the way back to 2017 when Hotel Henry first opened.
This included tips being distributed unevenly and workers being asked to do work before and after clocking out.
The suit even claims there were times the only compensation an employee would get for a shift was a bottle of wine.
Hotel Henry did not immediately return a request for comment.
Hotel Henry will cease operations on February 27.
