- There are four key pieces on the Blue Jays who have MLB bloodlines. First baseman Vlad Guerrero Jr. is the son of former MVP and 9-time All-Star Vlad Guerrero Sr. Second baseman Cavan Biggio is the son of 7-time All-Star and Astros Hall of Famer Craig Biggio. Shortstop Bo Bichette is the son of 4-time All-Star Dante Bichette. Infielder Travis Shaw is the son of 2-time All-Star Jeff Shaw. That's 22 all-star appearances between the infielder's fathers.

- If you're just getting into baseball because the Jays are now playing most of their home games in Buffalo, you should know the Queen City is the home of their AAA affiliate, and has hosted some of their biggest names in rehab assignments. This brought home run hitter Jose Bautista to Buffalo back in 2016.
