Just like the season changes next week to spring, some people might be thinking of changing up some things inside and outside of their homes.

People can get some inspiration at the Buffalo Home Show during its last weekend.

With more than 100 vendors, there are a lot of opportunities to meet with experts to get the inside tricks and tips.

One of the pros, the owner of Tripi’s Landscaping Phil Tripi says, is to get ahead of the game. It’s the biggest thing he says people don’t do.

"Get on someone's estimator schedule, it gets busy,” Tripi said.  “Get the projects going and you will get stuff done and have a good summer. It's usually not a real quick, one-time thing. It takes a couple times when you iron out details. Our job as a landscaper is to get your thoughts and your ideas out of your head and into your yard and sometimes that turns into a project. Having a good project plan and overview is super important.”

The show runs Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Tickets are required but can be purchased online, with kids’ tickets on sale for $3 and adult tickets available for $9.
