Niagara Falls police are still searching for the person responsible for burning a body outside of a car at Hooker Docks.

Officers said the body was burned beyond recognition when they found it at Buffalo Avenue and 53rd Road Saturday night, so they can't confirm if it's the person to whom the vehicle is registered.

Police said the body will be identified using DNA over the next few days.
