In Wyoming County, police in Attica blame high winds for a partial collapse of a former opera house.
The back wall of the Williams Opera House gave out around 6:30 when winds were gusting at their peak.
Police say part of the second floor inside collapsed onto the first floor. A vehicle parked underneath suffered damage from falling bricks.
We're told a business occupies the front of the building, but county code enforcement has condemned the building for the time being.
The area around the building on Exchange Street in the village has been closed off for now.
