Editor's note: The charges against Matthew Bojanowski and Stephen Parisi were dismissed by Buffalo City Court Judge Kevin J. Keane on Jan. 25, 2021 due to being "facially insufficient".

Two protesters have been charged after an alleged incident outside the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo offices last fall.

Matthew Bojanowski, 38, of West Seneca, and Stephen Parisi, 46, of Williamsville, have both been charged with harassment.

Both men resigned from positions at Christ the King Seminary last August.

Back in September, the pair allegedly approached a victim as she attempted to leave the parking lot and yelled at her while standing in the path of her vehicle, preventing her from exiting the lot onto Washington Street.

The defendants also allegedly harassed the victim on social media.

Bojanowski and Parisi are scheduled to return to Buffalo City Court on January 17.
