Imagine a victory parade with thousands of screaming fans, not in Boston or Philadelphia, or any other NFL city, but in Buffalo with the Bills celebrating their first Super Bowl championship.

That's exactly the vision Dan Chojnacki, 27, of Buffalo, has. Many of us know someone like him, among the most optimistic of lifelong fans.

"I think every year could be the year, so maybe this is it," Chojnacki said. "I think we've got some of the strongest fans in the NFL."

For the last three seasons, he's been inviting fellow fanatics on Facebook to a Bills' Super Bowl victory parade.

"A lot of people thought I was a little crazy," Chojnacki said.

Chojnacki first had the idea when the Bills ended their 17-year postseason drought in the 2017 season.

"I was pretty excited we were going to make the playoffs and we finally did, and I thought when we do make the Super Bowl, we should have an event for the parade so it just kind of came naturally," Chojnacki said.

Almost 13,000 people on Facebook agree, liking or marking "interested" in his event. This season, he's booked the parade for February 3, 2020, the day after the big game.

"I want to start it right at One Bills Drive, right at the stadium, go right to City Hall, and then have a party all week," Chojnacki said.

Along with the supporters, there are those naysayers who think maybe Dan's already done a little too much partying himself.

"People think I'm on drugs," Chojnacki laughed. "They're asking me what am I doing. They think I'm crazy."

Just crazy about his team.

"Josh Allen's looking really good. I think he's one of the keys to making the Super Bowl, and 'Trust the Process.' Fingers crossed, perfect season, win the Super Bowl, and we'll go from there," Chojnacki said.

And even if the Bills come up short again, there's always reason to believe.

"If not this year, it's next year," Chojnacki said.
